#a2n_salon: Richer and still sexy? Music, club culture and gentrification - Berlin's clubowners meet in context of the a2n_salon with the newly voted political players.
What was heavily discussed at the a2n_camp from November the 3rd until 5th 2011 at Kater Holzig will be concluded at Homebase, Potsdamer Platz on January 19th 2012 at 7pm. Clubowners still feel the need for communication and on the agenda is the expulsion of clubs via regional planning, rising rentprices, noise complaints due to the change of local neighbourhoods and much more.It is also time to involve newly voted political decision-makers. Björn Böhning (SPD), the new chancellery of the senate has confirmed his participation to the a2n_salon. Further representatives of the new senate in Berlin are invited and also many clubowners of this city.
Confirmed next to Björn Böhning (SPD) are Katrin Schmidberger, spokesperson for club culture, Ramona Pop from Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, Steffen Hack owner of Watergate club, Ben De Biel, press spokesman of Die Piraten and also Dr. Richard Meng, representative of the Berlin senate. The Clubcommission and Medienboard will also be present.
Host will be Jens Balzer from the Berliner Zeitung.
